Precision Manufacturing

Precision Sheet Metal Manufacturing

Some clients need a fabrication partner who treats a production run of 500 parts the same way they treat a one-off prototype. That’s what we do. High-tolerance manufacturing, tight lead times, and a shop that doesn’t cut corners to hit a schedule.

Overview

Precision isn’t something we claim — it’s something we’ve built our entire operation around. Our equipment is world-class, our processes are documented and refined, and every welded assembly ships under CWB Certification W47.1. When you need a manufacturing partner who gets it right the first time and keeps getting it right, this is what we’ve built.

Why Taylor Metals

Built for Precision Work

Deep Experience

With 150+ years of combined experience across our team, we’ve done the kind of work that exposes every weakness in a shop’s processes. That experience is built into how we operate — in the software we use, the equipment we’ve invested in, and the systems we run every job through.

Technology That Earns Its Keep

Our TRUMPF TruLaser 1030 fiber laser, AI-integrated workflows, and industry-leading CAD software aren’t just impressive specs. They translate directly into tighter tolerances, faster turnaround, and parts that are right the first time.

CWB W47.1 Certified Welding

Every welded component we produce is held to the Canadian Welding Bureau’s W47.1 structural steel standard. Traceable, documented, compliant. No guesswork, no shortcuts.

See It Before You Scale It

We offer 3D modeling and physical prototyping before full production. You can review the design, test the fit, and make adjustments before committing to a full run. For anything tight-tolerance or first-of-kind, this step pays for itself.

Design for Manufacturability

We’ll look at your design through a manufacturing lens and flag anything that could be simplified, improved, or made more cost-efficient without changing what matters. This isn’t about changing your design — it’s about making sure it works as well in production as it does on paper.

The Taylor Production System

TPS is our internal operating framework, built on Lean Manufacturing and Kaizen principles. It governs every step of how we run a production job — from quoting and scheduling through quality checks and shipping. It’s why our lead times are reliable, our pricing is competitive, and our output gets better with every run.

Precision Capabilities

Our Capabilities

Precision Laser Cutting

TRUMPF TruLaser 1030 with TruBoost nesting software. Tolerances to ±0.005”. Complex geometries, high-volume runs, consistent results.

Precision Forming & Bending

State-of-the-art press brakes producing precise bends and multi-dimensional forms. The same spec, every time.

Precision Metal Rolling

Curved and cylindrical profiles executed accurately across a range of metals and scales.

CWB W47.1 Certified Welding

GMAW (MIG) and GTAW (TIG) welding by certified tradespeople. Held to the highest standards on every joint.

Prototyping

Physical prototypes before full production. Validate before you commit.

Specialty Precision Fabrication

Hoppers, chutes, bins, heavy machinery parts, and custom stainless steel and aluminum assemblies built to exact spec.

Materials We Work With

Materials

  • Aluminum
  • Brass
  • Copper
  • Galvanneal
  • Mild Steel
  • Stainless Steel
  • Titanium

We also work with expanded, perforated, and embossed metals.

Quality & Sustainability

Every part that leaves our shop has been through our quality process. We don’t ship parts we wouldn’t stake our name on. We also recycle all scrap metal and run our operation under TPS — a lean, waste-reducing framework that’s good for our clients and good for the environment.
