We started Taylor Metals because we believed there was a better way to run a fabrication shop — one that combined serious technical capability with the kind of operational discipline that most shops don’t bother with.

We’ve applied those principles to sheet metal fabrication.
In practice, TPS governs how we quote jobs, schedule production, manage inventory, and get work out the door. It means every step of our process is documented, evaluated, and continuously refined. When something can be done faster without sacrificing quality, we find it. When there’s waste in a process, we cut it. When a job teaches us something, we build that learning into how we do the next one.
The result is a shop that consistently delivers on time, controls costs without cutting corners, and gets better at both with every passing year.
